1. Payment

To confirm your order and begin the production process, an advance payment is required.
Unless otherwise stated in your individual quotation or Purchase Agreement:

  • Standard Products: 20% advance payment.
  • Custom-Designed Products: 30% advance payment.
Your SODOCASA Project Manager will provide the advance payment details at the beginning of the order process.
The remaining balance, including any additional products or materials ordered, must be paid before dispatch.
Once full payment has been received, CEPHEUS EUROPE, S.L. will issue the final invoice for the order.

Technical Plans and Drawings

For customised projects requiring technical plans or drawings, CEPHEUS charges a fee of €150–350, depending on the size and complexity of the project. This fee must be paid in advance before the preparation of the plans begins.
If the Customer subsequently confirms the Product order, the full amount paid for the plans will be credited towards the final Product price.
If the Customer does not proceed with the Product order, the fee is non-refundable once the preparation of the plans or drawings has started, subject to any applicable mandatory consumer rights.

Payments must be made by bank transfer to the official CEPHEUS EUROPE, S.L. bank account:

The payment terms applicable to your individual project will be confirmed in your Purchase Agreement.
For detailed payment conditions, please refer to the CEPHEUS General Conditions of Sale provided with your Purchase Agreement.

2. Production Time

Estimated production times depend on the type of Product, level of customisation and current factory capacity.
As a general indication:

  • Standard Products: approximately 4–6 weeks.
  • Custom-Designed Products: approximately 6–8 weeks.
Production times may vary during periods of high demand, factory holidays or due to the complexity of the individual project.
The estimated production schedule applicable to your order will be confirmed by your SODOCASA Project Manager.

3. Delivery

Delivery is calculated individually for each order based on the destination, Product size, transport requirements and accessibility of the delivery location.
Your SODOCASA Project Manager will provide an individual transport quotation and discuss the appropriate delivery and unloading solution with you.

Delivery Access

Before delivery, the Customer must ensure that the specified delivery location can be safely accessed by the delivery vehicle communicated by SODOCASA.
Where relevant, SODOCASA will provide the approximate dimensions and weight of the delivery vehicle.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the access route and delivery location are suitable for the specified vehicle, including road width, height restrictions, turning space, weight restrictions and other access limitations.
If you are unsure whether the delivery vehicle can reach your property, please inform your SODOCASA Project Manager before transport is arranged.

4. Unloading

Unloading is not included in the transport price unless specifically stated in your quotation or Purchase Agreement.
Before delivery, your SODOCASA Project Manager will discuss with you whether a forklift, crane or other unloading equipment is required.
The Customer may arrange unloading independently or request SODOCASA to assist in arranging a suitable unloading solution.
Any unloading service arranged by SODOCASA will be quoted separately.

5. Returns & Cancellation

Cancellation and return rights depend on whether the Product is a standard Product or has been manufactured, modified or personalised specifically for the Customer.

Standard Products

Where applicable under consumer law, Customers purchasing standard Products may have the right to cancel their purchase within a period of 14 calendar days.
Products returned following a change of mind must be unused, unassembled and returned in suitable condition and packaging.
Return transport costs may be payable by the Customer where permitted by applicable law.

Custom-Made Products

Products manufactured, modified or personalised according to the Customer's specifications may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
Once production of a custom-made Product has commenced, advance payments may be non-refundable in accordance with the Purchase Agreement and applicable law.
The cancellation conditions applicable to each order are specified in the Purchase Agreement and CEPHEUS General Conditions of Sale.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

6. Product Warranty

SODOCASA Products are covered by the following warranty periods:

Component Warranty Period
Structural load-bearing timber components (treated and untreated) 10 years
Windows and factory-painted exterior doors 5 years
Factory-applied paint/coating on planed timber boards and exterior cladding 1 year
Factory-applied fully covering paint/coating on timber surfaces 3 years
Factory-applied wood impregnation (against fungal decay and wood rot) 2 years
Hardware and accessories 2 years

The structural warranty applies to load-bearing timber components regardless of whether they have been factory-impregnated, subject to the applicable warranty conditions.
Factory-applied impregnation provides additional protection against fungal decay and wood rot. Terrace boards and foundation joists are factory-impregnated as standard.
Full warranty coverage, conditions and exclusions are described in the CEPHEUS Product Warranty Policy.

7. Assembly

Depending on the Product, project and location, your SODOCASA Product may be:

  • Assembled by a SODOCASA installation team or authorised installation partner.
  • Assembled by an independent professional installer.
  • Self-assembled by the Customer.
Where self-assembly or third-party assembly is selected, SODOCASA provides the relevant technical documentation and assembly instructions in English.
Self-assembly or third-party assembly does not automatically exclude the Product from warranty coverage. However, defects or damage resulting from incorrect assembly or failure to follow the supplied technical documentation are not covered by the Product Warranty.
For larger or technically complex Products, we recommend using experienced professionals familiar with timber construction.
